Re-knitting ‘tester’ jumper

Reworking existing items would have been an integral element of everyday life in the past, but such practices have fallen out of favour. Twigger Holroyd’s open processes create new opportunities to revisit these practices through processes she describes as embellishing, stitch-hacking, replacing sections and ‘cardiganising’. Examples of potential outcomes may be seen on her Re-knitting ‘tester’ jumper, which is also on display.
